In 2024, Icon became the first Australian organisation to achieve both IAOCR certifications. Progressing from Silver to Gold Workforce Process Quality Certification reflects the dedication of researchers, clinicians and research teams across the Icon network, and their shared commitment to delivering high-quality clinical research that improves outcomes for people with cancer.

Congratulations to the teams across Icon’s research network, including investigators, research staff, quality and governance teams, and operational leaders who work together to deliver high-quality clinical trials and research for patients.

Through the support of Icon Cancer Foundation donors, this research continues to drive new discoveries and improve outcomes for people affected by cancer.

The International Accrediting Organisation for Clinical Research (IAOCR) is the world-leader in independent quality assurance, certification and accreditation for sites, companies and workforce.
