Icon Cancer Foundation / 18 Aug, 2026

Icon Cancer Foundation (ICF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Tracey Fyvie, Icon Group’s Chief Executive Officer – Commercial and Global Services, and Jenny Hansen, Icon Group’s Chief Marketing and Communication Officer, as Directors of the ICF Board.

Bringing extensive expertise in strategic growth, business development, communication and stakeholder engagement, Tracey and Jenny will help guide the Foundation’s next phase of growth and strengthen its ability to support innovative cancer research.

Their leadership will help ICF build greater awareness and support for clinician-led research, create new opportunities for research investment and, ultimately, help bring advances in cancer care closer to patients and communities across Australia.

Driving impact for our patients

Tracey joins the Board following the retirement of long-serving Director Ross Koscharsky, while Jenny joins as an additional Director, expanding the Board from three to four members as the Foundation continues to grow.

ICF Board Chair Dr Jonathan Ramsay said strong leadership is essential to ensure the Foundation maximises the impact of every donation and continues expanding opportunities for cancer research.

Tracey and Jenny are highly respected healthcare and business leaders whose expertise will be a tremendous asset to our Icon Cancer Foundation,” said Dr Ramsay.

Their combined expertise will help guide the Foundation through its next chapter, strengthening our ability to support world-class cancer research, grow community support and ultimately improve the lives of people affected by cancer.”

Guiding the next chapter of growth and impact

Tracey Fyvie joins the Board with significant experience in strategic growth, investment and business transformation through her role as Icon Group’s CEO Commercial and Global Services. Over her 11 years with Icon, Tracey has played a key role in expanding the organisation’s reach, strengthening commercial capability and delivering initiatives that support sustainable growth. She brings this strategic and entrepreneurial mindset to the Foundation as it continues to grow its role in enabling cancer research.

Tracey said she was honoured to join the Board and contribute to the Foundation’s next phase of growth, helping build the partnerships, investment and capability needed to translate research ideas into studies that benefit patients.

I’m honoured to join the Board at such an important stage in the Foundation’s growth. By strengthening investment, partnerships and research capability, ICF can create more opportunities for clinicians to turn innovative ideas into research that improves outcomes and experiences for patients.”

Growing awareness and community support

Joining Tracey on the Board is Jenny Hansen, Icon Group’s Chief Marketing and Communication Officer.

Jenny brings extensive experience in healthcare marketing, brand strategy, communication and stakeholder engagement, with a strong track record in building organisational reputation, supporting market growth and strengthening engagement across diverse healthcare audiences.

Jenny said a clear and compelling strategic position will be important as the Foundation enters its next phase of growth.

“Research changes lives, but it relies on the confidence, support and shared commitment of donors, partners and communities. I look forward to helping strengthen the Foundation’s profile and engagement so we can grow the support needed to advance clinician-led research and improve outcomes for people affected by cancer.”

Building the next stage of ICF

The expansion of the Board reflects the growth of Icon Cancer Foundation and its ambition to fund more research across Icon Cancer Centres. With greater philanthropic support, ICF can help clinicians progress research ideas, open studies across more locations and give more patients the opportunity to benefit from research closer to home.

Tracey and Jenny bring complementary experience that will help ICF broaden its reach, build stronger partnerships and attract the support needed to fund the next generation of clinician-led cancer research.
