A very special morning supporting cancer research.
On Sunday, 28 September, Harcourts Greater Springfield Group hosted the 10km for $10k fun run, raising funds for cancer research through Icon Cancer Foundation.
Organised by the Harcourts Springfield team, this meaningful event was inspired by their Group Director Rudy, who is currently undergoing treatment for stage four colorectal cancer at Icon Cancer Centre Springfield.
Thanks to the energy, generosity, and community spirit of Greater Springfield, the event was a huge success surpassing the $10,000 fundraising goal, with over 95 participants running in support of Rudy and cancer research.
The day was a true reflection of the power of community – with friends, family, Harcourts staff, local running clubs, and Rudy’s care team from Icon Cancer Centre Springfield team all coming together in support.
Events like this remind us that we are not alone in our mission to create a better future for people living with cancer. Rudy’s journey has touched many, and together we showed what can be achieved when a community unites behind a cause.
