Celebrating community at The BIG Party Charity Dinner
On Friday 2 August, the Lockyer Valley community came together in spectacular style for the annual BIG Party Charity Dinner in Gatton – raising an incredible $110,000 in support of cancer research and clinical trials through Icon Cancer Foundation.
Hosted by the Lockyer Valley Growers Inc., the evening was a vibrant celebration of generosity, community spirit and hope. Guests enjoyed a night to remember, complete with local produce, live music, a fireworks display, and entertainment from Tasmanian comedian Luke McGregor.
The Icon Cancer Foundation truck, proudly sponsored by Nolan’s Interstate Transport, was also on display, symbolising the journey of cancer research and the importance of getting support where it’s needed most.
The night’s highlights included a raffle and live auction, and one guest who auctioned off sections of her hair to be dyed – all in support of cancer research.
Thank you to the Lockyer Valley Growers, the sponsors, attendees, and volunteers for your incredible support. Your generosity is helping drive the future of cancer care.
